Star Students of Packaging Design Are Selected

The results of the 14th Packaging Design National Student Competition 2018, organized in cooperation with the Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD) and Reed TÜYAP, are clear. Students will receive their awards at a ceremony to be held at the Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair opening cocktail on 31 October 2018. In addition to the prize money, students who entered the first three ranks will also receive a lifelong scholarship for their education.

The finalists of the 14th Packaging Design National Student Competition organized by the Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD) and Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair organizer Reed TÜYAP have been announced. The Selection Committee gathering on July 4, 2018 evaluated the 85 projects submitted by grading. The first, second, third place, honorable mention and certificate order will be announced on 31 October 2018, at the opening ceremony of the Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair held every year, and the projects will be exhibited on the fairgrounds throughout the fair. The finalists who share the first three places in the competition will receive a lifelong scholarship as well as prize money.

'We will be the Packaging Center of Eurasia with the Success of Students'

ASD President Zeki Sarıbekir said that students who succeeded in the Packaging Design National Student Competition held this year have reflected their dreams into their designs. Sarıbekir pointed out that packaging design requires creativity, and continued as follows: "The design of the resulting packaging is at least as important as the product it contains and adds value to the product. Given its place in our daily lives, we can say that packages are design products with emotional appeal. To all the young people participating in the competition, my suggestion will be to work hard to realize their dreams, goals and beliefs. Students who are successful in our competitions achieve the opportunity to represent Turkey by participating in international competitions and a lifelong scholarship. I believe that this year our students will return successfully from international competitions as they have been in the past years. We will be closer to our goal of becoming a packaging center for Eurasia, as our students are successful. "
