A Platform That Bridges Education and Industry

Each year, the competition aims to encourage students in design education to explore the field of packaging design. ASD President Zeki Sarıbekir emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating:

“The Packaging Design National Student Competition allows university students to engage with the sector while also offering a fresh perspective to our industry. We take great pride in witnessing and supporting the original ideas of young designers and contributing to their realization.”

Zeki Sarıbekir: “Design Lies at the Heart of the Packaging Industry”

“Packaging is no longer just about protecting a product—it is the first touchpoint with the consumer, the face of the brand, and one of the most important tools for implementing sustainability,” said ASD President Zeki Sarıbekir.
“In today's competitive landscape, differentiation begins on the shelf, and strong design is the key. This is why design lies at the very heart of the packaging industry.”

He added, “Through this competition, we aim to build a strong bridge between today's industry professionals and the designers of tomorrow. It is our belief that developing innovative and sustainable packaging solutions with young talents is a crucial investment in the future of our sector—both in Türkiye and internationally.”
