Packaging Technology Training from ASD Packaging Academy to the Industry

The 2018 training program organized by ASD Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association under the ASD Packaging Academy brand was completed with the English training titled "ASD Packaging Technology Training” supported by World Packaging Organization (WPO).

Held between December 18 and 21 in the ASD Packaging Building, the training was given by the Certified Packaging Professional Mr. Kishan Singh (CPP & World Packaging Organization Ambassador), who was invited from abroad. The training was attended by a total of 30 students including packaging manufacturers, food companies and packaging certification companies' directors and technical experts.

All the topics in the packaging technology were addressed in the training, which lasted four full days. Addressing technical matters such as packaging materials, packaging filling systems, graphics & design and printing techniques and packaging supplementary materials, the training also had current content such as packaging and the environment, circular economy, quality control and the future of the packaging industry.

The attendants who passed the written exam following 4 days of training were entitled to receive WPO approved certificates.

TRAINING SESSIONS WILL CONTINUE

Mentioning that technical training that will meet the needs of many companies who run business in the packaging industry was offered in the ASD Packaging Academy, Mr. Zeki Sarıbekir, President of Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD) said: "Organized by our association and supported by WPO, our training received heavy attention. We know the significance of up-to-date training for the sustainability of our industry and its competition with developed countries in terms of technology, quality and product variety. We are following the developments in the world very closely to increase the competitiveness of Turkish packaging industry in global markets. ASD Packaging Academy gathers sectoral training requirements under a single room. Our association will continue its training sessions in line with the purpose of its foundation".
