Packaging Star of Asia: Turkey

Asian Packaging Federation (APF) Ordinary General Assembly and AsiaStar 2016 Award Ceremony, hosting the representatives of Asian packaging sector was organized in Mumbai, India between December, 14-17. In the competition, where Teksan Tin Can Packaging from Turkey received the President's Award, our packaging industry proved its success in the international area once again.

Within the framework of Asian Packaging Federation 41st Ordinary General Assembly and 66th Executive Board Meetings organized by Asian Packaging Federation (APF), bringing the Asian representatives of packaging together, AsiaStar 2016 Award Ceremony was conducted in Mumbai, India. Best packages of the continent were chosen within the scope of the activities, meeting the leaders of packaging in Asia and organized between 14 and 17 December 2016.

Participating the 3rd time this year to the AsiaStar Competition, which received in total 122 applications, Turkey became the fourth country receiving the most awards with 14 awards in total. In the category of "Consumer Products”, which received the greatest number of applications, Turkey shared the third rank, with 9 awards received, after Japan and India.

Following are the packagings, which left with an award during the Crescent and Stars of Packaging Competition that has become a trademark of Packaging Manufacturers Association and represented Turkey and received awards in AsiaStar Competition that is known as the "Oscar of Packaging in Asia”;
