IAPRI Announces Upcoming Conferences for 2021, 2022 & 2023

The IAPRI Board of Directors has been meeting regarding how to approach the next few years relative to our Member and World Conferences.
The coronavirus pandemic caused the 2020 World Conference to be replaced, at the last minute, by an online version. The planned schedule had a Member Conference planned for Mumbai, India in 2021. But the continued health, financial, and travel impact of Covid-19 is anticipated to carry over well into 2021. Therefore, the board has made the following adjustments and decisions regarding future conferences.
30th IAPRI 2021 Member Conference - Online Series
Due to the anticipated continued disruption to world travel, the 30th IAPRI Member Conference will be held in June, 2021 as an online series of live presentations similar to the in-person version of technical track presentations on packaging research from IAPRI members. A Core Committee is currently working on the format and exactly how it will function. Please plan to submit an abstract later in 2020 in anticipation of presenting during the conference. It is anticipated there will be both general and peer-reviewed papers and poster presentations
23rd IAPRI 2022 World Conference on Packaging - PACKAGING FOR WORLD CRISIS
The IAPRI Board of Directors has selected the Thai Packaging Centre to host the 2022 World Conference in Bangkok, Thailand in June of 2022.PROPAK Asia 2022 will be held during 15-18 June 2022 at the same venue of the IAPRI conference.
31st IAPRI Member Conference May 2023 Navi Mumbai, India
The SIES School of Packaging & Packaging Technology Center and the IAPRI Board of Directors have moved the Member Conference from 2021 back to 2023 .
IAPRI World Packaging Conference 2020 On Line - On Demand Registration Ends September 30th, BUT
Registration ends on September 30th, but because we know budgets have been restricted during the Covid Pandemic you can request to buy the conference or part of it after that time when funds become available, they will happy to assist you. The information will be open until May 2021.

The Sustainable Packaging Design Challenge, a collaboration between WPO and WDO launched in April of this year, culminated in a series of final presentations from 7 teams on Friday, 4 June. The project regrouped 11 facilitators, seven thought leaders, 76 participants and 28 student participants from 32 countries.
