Packaging Design National Student Competition
ASD works in cooperation with TÜYAP to organise Packaging Design National Student Competition. This national competition which is repeated every year to give monetary awards aims to encourage Turkish students who get design education to develop packaging design projects, to increase the interest for packaging sector among designers and designer candidates, to lay the foundation of an interface between industry and designers, to increase the sensitivity for the development of programs that will result in university-industry cooperation, full-time employment, hardware donations, supply of research funds and experience exchange.And the ultimate objective is to develop a packaging industry that will contribute to the locally produced merchandises find a place in domestic and foreign markets; and to gain competitive power through the added value achieved by original and correct packaging applications.

WorldStar Student - Packaging Design International Student Competition
In 2006 and 2007 the competition has been held in Istanbul by Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association whose goal is to provide every kind of necessities to the development of packaging industry and TÜYAP. TÜYAP is the organization that we are in cooperation to perform the Istanbul Packaging Exhibition which is certainly the biggest and most developed exhibition in Eurasia region. WPO Board of Directors has decided to organize the competition in Tunisia in 2008 and 2009. More detailed information about WorldStar Student Competition which the judging meeting will be performed in September 15, 2008 can be obtained from ASD and WPO. One of three representatives of WPO jury will be from ASD-Packaging Manufacturers Association and the award ceremony will be held by December 2008 during Packaging Conference in Tunisia. The first three winners of WorldStar Student Competition will be invited to the award ceremony which will be held in Tunisia. All the expenses will be paid by the organizer.
